What inside plant is
In telecommunications, the inside plant includes infrastructure located inside buildings, central offices, nodes or technical rooms: distribution, racks, trays, risers, backbone, copper and fiber optics.
Copper and fiber backbone
We design and deploy internal trunks based on distance, capacity and architecture. The backbone can use fiber optics while horizontal distribution can use structured cabling.
Risers, racks and trays
We upgrade pathways, conduits, racks and cabinets to create identifiable and accessible infrastructure. Maintainability is a design criterion, not an afterthought.
Testing and documentation
On optical links we perform OTDR testing and other tests according to the objective. Documentation helps record segments, additions, removals and changes.
Expansions and migrations
We perform backbone extensions, new racks, reorganizations, moves and coordinated migrations to reduce operational impact.
Maintenance and support
For critical sites, inside plant can be integrated with FLM maintenance, smart hands and on-site support procedures.
